National Papercrafting Month - Live Your Day Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the National Papercrafting Month Blog Hop!

If you arrived here from Michelle Loncar's Stamp Lady blog, you're on the right track.  This is a circular hop, so you should be able to click all the way through to see all the ideas, but if you get lost along the way, you can find a complete list of hoppers here.

The Live Your Day set of Picture My Life Cards was created specifically to work with our new and fabulous Everyday Life Planner system.  Of course, you know me!  I had to do something different with it.

In keeping with the "Faster. Simpler. Easier" concept behind the PML line, I wanted to show how you can make a quick and fun card with a minimum of time and fuss.  First, I trimmed the PML card down to fit a standard size 4.25"x5.5" card.  I used my Corner Rounder to re-round the, well, the corners, obviously! LOL  Then, I created the card front using the black cardstock from the Fundamentals-Basics pack.  It's always amazing to me how much these papers add to any project.

Next, I wanted to highlight that adorable aqua arrow on the card, so I pulled out my Aqua Shimmer Trim and just added an accent strip along one side.  Finally, to add the perfect final touch, I put on two of our new gold Treasured Puffies.   I just love the look of these!

Now, hop on over to Gina Brandstetter's Little Corner of Stampin Heaven blog to see what she's done with her project.

Happy hopping!
