My father-in-law passed away yesterday and as I was reflecting on his life and years of service to our country, I was inspired to make this card. He served almost 21 years in the US Army and fought in both the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was 84.
Here is the project I've created for you:
This is a 5x7 card with a
Pacifica base, a 4.75x6.75 layer of
Slate and then a 4.5x6.5 piece of
Watercolor paper. I used our new
watercolors to paint the flag and
white embossed the stars and saying onto it.
This card is fabulous! The story behind the card makes this project even more beautiful. Love how you did the stars and the wavy red lines.
