New Products Blog Hop

Welcome to the New Products Blog Hop!  Our newest Annual Inspirations is full of GORGEOUS new products that will spark your creativity!

If you arrived here from Lela's blog, you're on the right track.  If you get lost along the way, you can find a complete list of hoppers here.

For the first time, Close to My Heart has a featured color of the year:  Sea Glass.  When this was announced, I suddenly noticed just how on-trend it was!  I see Sea Glass EVERYWHERE!  Even the new hiking shoes I bought two weeks before the announcement are Sea Glass color.  LOL

Sea Glass Cardstock
So, naturally, I wanted to feature Sea Glass in one of my first projects from the new Idea Book.  But what colors to use with it?  My husband pointed out that the shoelaces on my workout shoes are Sea Glass, too!   I'm telling y'all, this color is everywhere this season!

I decided that I loved this color combination, so I decided to use it for my project.

I used some of the Sea Glass cardstock along with the new Sea Glass Glitter paper.  I also added in some of the new Raspberry from the Adventures Fundamentals paper pack.   Aren't those little hearts the cutest?  I masked and stamped the "You Make My Heart" sentiment from the new Happy Heart stamp set.   I used the new Happy Thin Cut to cut the glitter paper to finish the sentiment.

Here you can see that I used some of the Thin 3-D Foam Tape to pop up the glitter paper sentiment.  You know how I love to pop things up!!

I hope you love my project!

Now it's time to hop on over to Maureen's Something to Scrap About blog to see what she was inspired to create for you.

See you next time!
