February Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - Balloon Animals

Welcome to another fabulous Stamp of the Month blog hop!

If you've arrived here from Michelle's Handmade from the Heart blog, you're on the right track!  If you get lost along the way, you can find a complete list of hoppers here.

I can't even tell you how in love with this stamp set I am!   My husband has been a crafter of balloon animals for many, many years, and so ballon animals have a special place in my heart.  He always donates his balloons and time for any family event that needs him.  Has anyone ever taken pictures of him doing it?  Of course not!  Usually because my daughter and I are busy doing face-painting for the kids or something like that.  I hope that eventually I will get pictures of him making his creations and the absolute delight on the faces of the kids.  You can bet I'll be holding on to this stamp set to make *that* scrapbook layout!

So, I made this fabulous card for you instead!

I used the Triple Time stamping technique to create this card and because I wanted to focus on bright, primary colors, I used Cranberry, Pacifica and Honey, all from the Adventure palette.

Now, hop on over to Haley's Inky Scrapper blog to see what she's created for you.

  2. Great card. This is a technique I need to try. Nice story about your husband; a co-worker's husband always brings his supplies to make balloon animals for the kids and they love it.

  3. My daughter (20) likes to make balloon animals too! One time in highschool she brought her kit in and made a bunch during a school celebration - too fun. Your husband sounds like a wonderful man donating his time to help out at family events. He's sure to be a favorite Grandpa someday with his mad balloon skills!
