CTMH Featured Products Blog Hop #2: Foil Tape

Hello, everyone!  I'm so excited to have joined another Blog Hop!  This one will happen every two weeks and will feature a different Close to my Heart product every time.  If you arrived here from Scrapbooking with Kirsten Jade, you're on the right track.

This time we're playing with the Foil Tape.

I want to talk for a minute about inspiration.  People often ask me where I get my card ideas.  Honestly, I'm a die-hard stamplifter!  I get my ideas from the Close to my Heart blog, from other consultants and from Pinterest.  Sometimes I stamplift a great idea and use it just as is and sometimes I tweak it a bit to give it my own style.  But, you never know where inspiration can come from or when it will strike without warning.  This week's project is a prime example.  I was thinking about the foil and fiddling with my cell phone.  I was staring at my phone case when suddenly I found my inspiration!

Here is my phone case:

It's hard to see in the picture, but there's a gold metallic logo down toward the bottom.

Here is what my phone case inspired me to make:

For this project, I used the La Vie en Rose paper pack,  D1665 Blossoming Expressions stamp set, Cotton Candy, Topiary, and Canary inks, and, of course, Gold Foil!  Lots and lots of gold foil!

What do you think?

Now, hop on over to Sheila Bennett's blog to see how she used the foil tape in her project!
