Between the Fold Challenge #9: Sketch it Out!

This week's Between the Fold Challenge is to use one of two sketches in your project this week.  Please click through to the blog to see the two sketches.  You can use the link or you can click on the picture below to come and play with us!

Here is the project I created using the card sketch:

As assigned, I followed the sketch on page 87 of our Originals Card Confidence book.  It's hard to see the tone-on-tone stamping on the Canary piece, but it says "Congratulations" and has stars and confetti on it from the Hello, Life - Cardmaking set available only this month.  I think my favorite part is that adorable little bow I made from the Kaleidoscope paper using our Artiste Cricut cartridge!

I made this card to go with this adorable Instalife album I made for my friend, Julianne, who just had the MOST ADORABLE baby girl.  One of the best pieces of advice I received after I had Hannah was to take her picture every month on her "birthday" with the same stuffed animal.  At the end of the year, we would be able to see just how much she had grown.  That series of pictures is one of my absolute favorite layouts in Hannah's scrapbook!!  I wanted to give Julianne the same idea, but made her a little album to put the pictures in.  Here's one of the pages:

I used our lovely ShinHan markers to color in the different critters.  This little guy is my favorite!

And, while there aren't a great selection of stuffed toys available locally, I did find this adorable Abby Cadabby doll to go with the album.  How sweet is that?
