June Stamp of the Month

Who doesn't love ice cream?  It's so cool and creamy and the perfect thing to eat on a hot summer day.  Don't forget that this set is only available from June 1st - June 30th and it can be yours for only $5 with a qualifying order.  Be sure to join my "Summer Dayz" Online Gathering for a chance to win $40 in CMTH products.

Okay, let's get to it.  Both of these cards are based on ideas I stamplifted from my friend and fellow CTMH consultant, Liz Johnson. This set and these colors make me SO happy!! I honestly just love this set so much.

Here's Card #1.  It's a 4.25 x 5.5" card.  Now, those of you who know me in real life know that my college degree is in English for a VERY good reason.  I'm not good with math-y things.  You've seen the meme where it says "I've got 7 apples and you've got 8 oranges.  How many pancakes can fit on the roof?  Purple, because aliens don't wear hats."?  Yeah, that's me all over.  So, I was super intimidated to try making this card, but I was also super determined.  Guess what?  There are NO MATHS involved!  Okay, yeah, when I placed the first piece (the long stamped Lagoon piece in the middle) something about "45 degrees" might have crossed my brain box, but after that: NO MORE MATHS!  Just line up your next piece, glue it down and trim the ends to match the sides of the card. Easy-peasy. :o)  I cut some strips to be 3/4" and some 1/2" to match the shimmer trim.

This next card is a 4x4" card that would be perfect to attach to a gift bag or tie on a ribbon around a plant.  You could even add slits on the inside and use it as a gift card holder.  I used my Le Pen to add those little "quotation marks" by the dog's tail to show her wagging with happiness.
